DayMark Technologies™ is proud to announce the recent upgrades and changes at the Markham Converting Facility in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Director of Manufacturing, Steve Hill, has implemented several changes that will both boost efficiencies and provide more effective service for their customers. Changes include replacement of the roll handling equipment (including the unwind and web guide for the coater) and the two roll reverse gravure coating heads. An enclosed doctor blade system has been added. Hill also noted they have made extensive upgrades to the control logic for the coating line.

DayMark Technologies™ announced the acquisition of the Markham Facility in April, 2010. Commenting on the acquisition, Bob Piefke, Division Manager for DayMark Technologies, said, "We are now vertically integrated in the supply chain. The acquisition gives us wide-web, pressure-sensitive capabilities in conjunction with in-line silicone coating, enhancing our ability to meet all pressure-sensitive and specialty coating needs of the market."
