Bowling Green, OH -- CMC Group, Inc. is excited to announce the rebranding of its division, formerly DayMark Technologies, to SmartSolve® Industries, as well as entry into the Hydrographics immersion printing market.

The CMC Group and its business divisions, including DayMark Safety Systems, Century Label and SmartSolve Industries, represent years of research and development and several patents in dissolvable substrates. This expertise, coupled with state-of-the-art digital printing capabilities and American made materials, including custom printed water soluble film and tape, will simplify the supply chain challenges for dippers and processors. SmartSolve Industries will also enable custom short-run printing options that open up opportunities formerly cost-prohibitive to the industry.

“With the launch of SmartSolve products for the Hydrographics industry, we have teamed up with water transfer printing experts with over 50 years of experience to provide an unparalleled expertise and a product package that brings true evolution to the Hydrographics printing and processing community,” says SmartSolve Industries Division Leader Jonathan Jakubowski. “The synergies created by this new team will make Bowling Green, Ohio the new Hydrographics headquarters.”

The SmartSolve Industries team consists of Al Caperna, CMC Group Chairman of the Board; Jonathan Jakubowski, SmartSolve Industries Division Leader; Greg Rogers, VP of Business Development; and Ryan Gerwin, Office Administrator. Additionally, Ric Farmer is Processor Development Specialist and Frank Sherman, Technical Development Specialist. Farmer and Sherman are renowned nationally for their expertise in water transfer printing technologies and will lead implementations throughout the country.

“In the past, the Hydrographics market in North America has been challenged with poor service, slow turnaround due to overseas imports, and large minimum orders,” says Sherman. “SmartSolve for Hydrographics will change all that.”
