SmartSolve water-soluble “dissolvable” pouch stock offers a zero waste alternative to traditional flexible packaging films. Our pouch stock is made from responsibly sourced wood pulp fibers and cellulose and coated with varying thicknesses of dissolvable heat seal adhesive. This technology is perfectly suited for any dry ingredients or formulations as mono-dose units, especially where product portion control is critical. The entire substrate disperses in any water temperature in less than 30 seconds with a small amount of agitation. Readily biodegradable (OECD 301B), 100% biodegradable in less than 30 days (ISO 18451), safe for the environment (US EPA Ecological Risk Assessment), and safe for drains (INDA GD4 FG 502), SmartSolve pouch stock is a safe and viable option for your dry packaging applications.
